Kassi Lieberman

 

Kassi is the Owner of CrossFit Gilroy. Kassi started CrossFitting in April of 2011, after falling in love with the sport and having a background in coaching she decided to get her L1 CrossFit Instructor Certification. She has been coaching adults and young adults since 2012. She has her L2 CrossFit Certification and is CrossFit Kids Certified. 

 

Kassi is an avid runner and has participated in several races in the bay area, she has also competed in numerous CrossFit Throwdowns as Single Competitor as well as Team Competitions. She believes in the sport of CrossFit, her favorite thing about it is the community it builds within a gym and truly believes that working out should be fun. 

              Jacob Melero
Jacob found CrossFit in 2012 and knew that he found something different compared to his conventional bodybuilding training. After being humbled by the infamous body weight workout "CINDY" he develed into CrossFit. In 2014 he got his level 1 CrossFit Trainer Certification as well as his Strongman Certification in 2015. Jacob loves CrossFit and enjoys working with people to become healthier, more fit and getting them stronger. 
John Larson 

Like a lot of skinny kids growing up I was always exercising and lifting weights in order to get bigger and more muscular.  It never worked.  I wasn't going to make my body into something it wasn't.  When I started CrossFit back in 2014 I finally bought into the notion that the primary focus of fitness should not be about how I look, but about what I could achieve.  I have never had as much fun working out as I have at CrossFit Gilroy.  I look forward to it every time and enjoy that there are always new challenges waiting for me.  Work hard and have fun and your best body will follow.

 

As a coach my primary focus is always on form and scaling.  I would rather see somebody learning a movement safely and properly than let somebody try a lift or a skill they are not ready for and get frustrated or injured.  Fitness and health is a life-long journey and as coaches at CrossFit Gilroy we are always looking to adapt the programming for each athlete as their strength, fitness level and experience grows.

Josh Montoya 
Josh started his Crossfit journey at the age of 14 to get better at rugby. Josh is our youngest coach but has been partaking in the Crossfit life for longer than most. He has seen what Crossfit can do to help him in his high school career as well as in his adult life. Josh specializes in gymnastic skills and really taking the time to get movements down correctly. He is passionate about the sport and being the best trainer he can be.

I am 48 and a mom of two teens.  I love to teach fitness and health to everyone. I’m in the best shape of my life in my 40’s which I want to promote and to set an example for my community. I enjoy competing as an Elite level athlete in Obstacle Course Racing as well as running. I also love competing in Crossfit competitions with my amazing Crossfit Gilroy crew. I am proud and honored to be a part of the Crossfit Gilroy training team!!
 
Kendra Ramirez
 
Kendra started at Crossfit Gilroy as a member. After seeing how much her body changed and falling in love with the sport of Crossfit she was encouraged to get certified so she could coach. Kendra loves the community of Crossfit and getting to know the members on a personal level. She truly wants to get people in the best shape of their life by being patient and encouraging.
